Upcoming Talk by Joe Arak of the Pioneer Valley Shambhala Center.

Date: Thursday, November 7th, 2013
Time: 7:30 PM

Theme: The Shambhala Principle and the Culture of Conflict

On the collective level we are continually caught up in securing our place, our position, our relationships and everything else with which we identify. Societally we seem to relate mostly in terms of “us and them”. Struggles of all kinds ensue and stress, anxiety, and frustration are daily companions. We might wonder if it’s even possible to create a better world.

Join us as we investigate the ancient wisdom of Shambhala which sees that humanity and society itself, at it’s heart, is basically good. How do we experience this basic nature of goodness and what can we do to further cultivate that understanding personally and culturally?
